The concrete cracks were causing the exterior brick structure to lean. Just by looking at the visible exterior cracks, there were large gaps in the cracks, enough to allow for water to seep in.

The team at PierMagic Foundation Specialists performed a residential foundation repair free assessment to determine an effective solution. It was determined that the home needed a two-series solution, foundation piering and concrete sealing. The team began by excavating the exterior of the home to expose the foundation. Then PierMagic installed four helical piers, with low profile brackets, along the exterior, to make the piers less noticeable.  To ensure the cracks are fully sealed and to aesthetically finish the project, the team applied an industrial concrete seal to cover over piers.

The Solution

The results were immediate. The homeowner could no longer see the gaping cracks or leaning wall. The foundation itself is much, much stronger and durable to ensure the home is able to withstand decades of stable and healthy weight and settlement.
